Seller's comments and description: 1954 corvette project ncrs needs restoration c1 1953 1955 hot rod original vette. A true 1954 corvette. This is a fresh build with -0- miles on it. The motor is a fresh 355 4-bolt main, steel crank, flat tops . 030 over, mild hydraulic cam and a built set of 2. 02 double hump heads. The transmission is a fresh built 700r4 overdrive with all the good internal upgrades and a small street convertor. The chassis has been completely sandblasted and painted gloss black. Front disc brake conversion completed. Lowered factory suspension front and rear. New shocks on all 4 corners. The rear differential is a 59 corvette and i believe has a posi trac unit. Chassis is finished with the exception of running the fuel line and brake lines. The body was completely stripped to bare glass(off the car), all necessary repairs done(properly) and sealed with 2 thick coats of slick sand resin primer. Blocked down and then epoxy primed with 2 coats of black primer. The body work is done. Everything on the car is hinged and latched. The front seats have been restored already. Included with the car but not installed are a new red 59 steering wheel, new correct red carpet, the inner grille assembly, dash pad, door panels/spears, and many other small parts. The gauges and radio are original 54 corvette. The knobs on the radio are not original.

Seller's comments and description: vehicle has manual transmission (restoration info says the vehicle was converted to auto transmission, it was later reversed). The car is not 100% original, as it is indicated in the documents/pictures about the restoration. All the appearance components are original, so the car looks very much like it did in 1959. It has been many years since the hard top has been removed, so there is a possibility that the original soft top is still there (i can't guarantee it as i have no help to remove the hard top to check). The guts of the car were updated during the restoration process to make it more of a drivers car. The engine came from a later model corvette (likely an 80's, as it is a 355), and because the engine's power was increased significantly, the transmission, suspension and brakes were also updated. Over the last 60 days i replaced the starter, the carburetor, the heating coil (all for new components, not reconstructed) and rewired the cooling fan. The battery is only 1 yr old. It is also important to mention there are no leaks of any kind.
